You'd first have to record something in Animoog and then hit the Copy button in the Record section. When you do this you're actually storing a file called clipboard.wav on your iPad, and you should be able to export this file using iTunes.

Once you've done that you can edit the file in the program of your choice to make your ringtone. You can do this in GarageBand if you like, or in pretty much any sound editing software. I use Rogue Amoeba's Fission, but there are plenty of other programs out there you could use.

Hmmm. Maybe I'll do a tutorial blog post on how to do this.Seth Elgarthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06654508987883145664noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3478547163072626403.post-23815823148800009592011-10-30T11:24:06.594-04:002011-10-30T11:24:06.594-04:00I am no musician or have never even played with an...I am no musician or have never even played with anything like this but it is an incredible app. Is there anybody out there that can explain to me how to export sounds to make custom ringtones with it?
please help!krmhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02175421896885893685noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3478547163072626403.post-78844733518596955482010-11-09T20:06:45.819-05:002010-11-09T20:06:45.819-05:00Wow, I can't believe I just found this! I think it sounds and feels great.

That said I played a 15,000 Bechstein upright last weekend and the sound and feel were awesome. But it costs 15x as much and if i'd be uncomfortable travelling with the Kurzweil there's no way that Bechstein is going anywhere.

That said I would still have the Bechstein in my lounge for those moments when I want something totally organic.

On the subject of software I have NI Akoutstik Piano and for grand piano sound I think it beats the SP3X but it's using, what, 3GB of samples and my computer to do it.

I guess this ramble amounts to my agreeing with you. Some realism which was too CPU-expensive to do 5 years ago is amazingly accessible now.

I also note a lot of modern piano recordings (not classical but rock and pop), even if recorded on a "real piano", use digital sweetening techniques to boost the EQ and compress it, such that it sounds more... electronic.▓▒░ TORLEY ░▒▓ https://www.blogger.com/profile/14739012768658265437noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3478547163072626403.post-6860167953327748412009-03-01T00:23:00.000-05:002009-03-01T00:23:00.000-05:00great post - I need to visit now...great post - I need to visit now...Markhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09321720065131028424noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3478547163072626403.post-91738023864620492142009-02-06T17:04:00.000-05:002009-02-06T17:04:00.000-05:00I just today at work received the DVD of the secon...I just today at work received the DVD of the second part of the show.
